WELCOME!
To our website, for Exeter's very own Vintage Fair 'Crikey Its Vintage!' Founded in 2011. Our initial event 'The Exeter Vintage and Handmade Fair' was the brainchild of Shelley, with the help of a very good friend Cassie, another lovely Devonshire lass!
After attending vintage events around Devon we decided that Exeter was in desperate need of a Vintage fair itself! So we planned, researched, hunted down stall holders, promoted, and advertised the fair and to our amazement it was a great success!
And so 'Crikey Its Vintage' was born, a quarterly event due to take place 10th March, 2nd June and September and November, dates to be confirmed! We believe in supporting local vintage sellers and handmade artists, and are passionate about sharing all things Vintage and Handmade throughout Devon and beyond. We always strive to offer a range of good quality stall holders at our events.
Look out for details of our Summer event at the Exmouth Pavillion, on 14th July!

In this section we shall be sharing with you all the exciting news that is taking place here at Crikey Head Quarters for our events.

We are pleased to announce that The Vintage Cream will be hosting a mini Tupperware party!
For those of you that dont know (ask your Mum!) Tupperware is a range of kitchenware that includes preparation, storage, containment, and serving products for the kitchen, which were first introduced to the public in 1946.
From the 1950's onwards Tupperware parties were all the rage. A Tupperware party is run by a Tupperware consultant for a host who invites friends and neighbours into his or her home to see the product line. Tupperware hosts are rewarded with free products based on the level of sales made at their party. Parties also take place in workplaces, schools, and other community groups. This gave them a solid position in the household produce market, thier products were popular because they were durable, fashionable and very useful for storing household food for every modern house wife.

In this section we have a feature called seller of the month. Whether it's a vintage seller or a handmade crafter, you will get to find out a little bit about them and see their super wares inbetween each Crikey event.
Featured Seller Of The Month - February
Hello My Name is Karen. I am a wife and mum to three boys who keep me on my toes. I have several online businesses one of which is The White Approach where I sell vintage homewares and reloved painted furniture.
My love of vintage homewares came about many years ago when as a single mum to a young baby and living on a tight budget, I would shop at boot sales and charity shops for clothes, homewares and furniture. I love the colour white and found it a cheap and easy fix when decorating, and despite what you might think, it's the easiest colour to keep clean. It is also the perfect backdrop to display vintage china, mirrors and furniture.
One of the reloved shelves my husband made from part of our twins cot bed displaying some of my china.
Living in a house with four men I just had to have something girly, so we striped and painted the stairs pink. Adding some word stencils for relief.
I love to combine the old with the new and my home is forever evolving with new pieces.
I also blog at The White Approach Blog where I am documenting how we are renovating our house on a tight budget and also showing some of the bargains I find
January featured seller was Cassie, of Tabbytha Vintage
